Can anyone do Pilates? Yes. Pilates is for everyone. Regardless of your age, gender, or current fitness level, each exercise can be adapted to suit your specific needs and physical condition.
How long are the sessions? All classes are 1 hour long.
What should I wear? Please wear comfortable clothing that allows a full range of movement, such as leggings, jogging bottoms, and a T-shirt. We ask that clothing isn't too baggy, as this allows me to check your posture and alignment while you perform the exercises.
What do I need to bring to class? Please bring a mat, a towel, and water. We recommend a mat with adequate thickness (around 15mm) to provide enough cushion for your body during floor work.
When can I expect to see results? Joseph Pilates famously said: "In 10 sessions you will feel the difference; in 20 you will see the difference; and in 30 you will have a whole new body."
Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant or postnatal? Yes, though we strongly advise attending a specialized pre/post-pregnancy class with a teacher who has undertaken specific training in that area. Please note that we do not currently offer this specific service.
