Can anyone do Pilates?
Yes Pilates is for all age groups, regardless of current physical condition and can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age, gender, current fitness condition, as each exercise can be adapted to the needs of the client.
How long are your sessions?
Our classes are for 1 hour.
What shall I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you a full range of movement e.g. jogging bottoms, leggings and t-shirt. Please make sure it isn’t too baggy though as we need to be able to check your posture whilst performing the exercises.
What do I need to bring to class?
Please bring a mat, towel and water. We advise you to bring a mat with adequate thickness (around 15mm) to cushion the body whilst performing floor work.
When can I expect to see results?
Joseph Pilates suggested in 10 sessions you will feel the difference; in 20 you will see the difference; and in 30 you will have a whole new body’.
Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant or postnatal?
Yes you can and we advise clients to only attend a specialized pre/post pregnancy class where the teacher has undertaken additional training in this area. We do not currently offer this service.
